Pressure Vacuum Vent With Flame Arrester
Flame Arrestors are manufactured as line end (like pipeline end and on-tank exit) and interline. It may be manufactured with flanges on both ends or with one flat end. The flame arresting unit is "Crimson Ribbon" type, is positioned inside and has wholly changeable characteristics. The porous effective cross section of flame arrestor unit is less than fire extinguishing diameter necessary for air/benzene steam mixture. Standard quenching diameter is 0.75 mm. Total free passing area is larger than flame arrestor's area. Flame arrestors are ex-proof and are generally manufctured between 2" and 12" in diameter. Flame arrestors are suitable for easy dismounting and cleaning and may be cleaned with pressed air. It may be as well automatically cleaned with the petroleum steam during loading.
